  12. FYEO 2.00 is a SHAREWARE, it means that after a trial period ( 2 weeks ),
  13. you must either delete this program or register.
  14. If you choose to register you will have to send me a blank disk
  15. and a small registration fee in the form of bank notes : a 50 francs note
  16. or a 5 sterling pounds note or a 20 marks note or a 10 US dollars note 
  17. or equivalent ( it must be bank notes ).
  18. I will then send you your disk back filled with the latest shareware
  19. version of FYEO plus bonus JPEG files ( please specify image themes ).

  28. Features of this release are :
  29. - No temporary file .
  30. - Multiple window handling .
  31. - Huge speed increase compared to translator 7.12 ( x 3 ) and 
  32. change fsi 0.90 ( x 4 ) for jpeg decompression (See the file Docs.Perfs ) .
  33. - 40% speed increase compared to FYEO 1.02 for JPEG .
  34. - Full multitask processing and image display .
  35. - Fast quantization and Floyd-Steinberg dithering .
  36. - Scaling .
  37. - Fast preview mode for JPEG ( automatically entered when setting 
  38.   scaling to 1:8 and input dpi = output dpi) .
  39. - Fast grayscale mode for color JPEG .
  40. - Choice bettween different dithering types . 
  41. - Faster but coarser simple dithering for image preview 
  42. ( 30% speed increase when viewing JPEG ) .

  44. Limitations :
  45. - Output only to 8bpp and standard palette sprites.

  48. - Fully tested on RISC OS 3.10 ( use the Template3D file ) .
  49. - Template2D file provided for RISC OS 2.00 .
